Busy Bees is On Sale

The first book in the Morelville Mysteries series featuring Sheriff Melissa ‘Mel’ Crane and Special Agent Dana Rossi, Relic, is free on almost all sites. It’s not on Google Play yet but I have a line on how to get it and a boxed set of the first four books there thanks to fellow mystery author Molly Greene. Thanks Molly! Look for them at Google Play soon if Android tablets and phones are your thing.

The second book in the series, Busy Bees, is a stand-alone mystery in its own right but it does pick up the story of Mel and Dana where it left off in Book 1. Other than in the previously mentioned boxed sets, it’s only available at Amazon for purchase and via Kindle Unlimited. Beginning today, and running through June 15th, you can purchase Busy Bees from Amazon on sale for just $.99 U.S. or U.K. Prices in other countries are reduced to the lowest level Amazon allows during this limited time promotion.

Here’s a brief blurb about the story:

Romance and Murder Mix in the Latest Story Featuring Sheriff Mel Crane and Special Agent Dana Rossi!

Customs Special Agent Dana Rossi is down but not out after being shot and seriously injured during her previous assignment. Will romance blossom or will sparks fly when she agrees to shack up in Morelville with the beautiful butch Sheriff Melissa ‘Mel’ Crane and her extended family while she recovers?

Will murder get in the way of love? If murder doesn’t, will life in a house with children or a political campaign keep them apart? Can Mel solve two major crimes and keep her former job on the road loving girlfriend happy in a tiny town?

Please Note: Romance is a theme in this installment of the lesfic mystery series but it’s slow to develop. This book contains no overt sexual situations. Sorry to disappoint (check out books 3-7 for those…).

Enjoy and, as always, thank you for reading!

About Anne Hagan

I'm an East Central Ohio based government employee by day and a fiction author by night. I specialize in mystery fiction featuring lesbian sleuths and cozy fiction featuring women sleuths. I also dabble in romance especially romantic lesfic. I live with my wife and our dogs in a tiny town that’s even smaller than the Morelville of my first fiction series and we wouldn't have it any other way. My wife grew up here and she has always called this little village home. Though it’s an ultra-conservative rural community, we're surrounded here by family, longtime friends and many other wonderful people with open hearts and minds. My wife and I are the co-owners of a commercial haunted house: Hagan's House of Horrors. Much as my dream has always been to write fiction, hers has been to create it through the medium of horror. We went full commercial in 2015. Watch us as we grow!
