Naming Contest

I’m running a little contest to name a place that appears prominently in the first part of my next book, the lesfic romance, ‘Broken Women‘ (due out in late April). You have from now until 1:30 PM Eastern time on Friday to submit names in the comments here or on the post on my Facebook page for a fictional gay bar (males) located in the very real ski resort town of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Sadly, Steamboat does not currently have a gay or lesbian bar of any kind…surprising in an area known for its champagne ski powder, it’s monthly mixers for LGBT skiers and its annual ‘Outboard’ ski week!

You may enter more than one name. Please, be creative! I’ll be choosing the winner from all of the entries provided. The lucky winner will receive their choice of a paperback copy of the book ‘Broken Women‘ or a Kindle ebook copy once the book is released.

Broken Women Alt Cover

Bet the cover makes just a little more sense now, eh?

So, how about giving me some names?

About Anne Hagan

I'm an East Central Ohio based government employee by day and a fiction author by night. I specialize in mystery fiction featuring lesbian sleuths and cozy fiction featuring women sleuths. I also dabble in romance especially romantic lesfic. I live with my wife and our dogs in a tiny town that’s even smaller than the Morelville of my first fiction series and we wouldn't have it any other way. My wife grew up here and she has always called this little village home. Though it’s an ultra-conservative rural community, we're surrounded here by family, longtime friends and many other wonderful people with open hearts and minds. My wife and I are the co-owners of a commercial haunted house: Hagan's House of Horrors. Much as my dream has always been to write fiction, hers has been to create it through the medium of horror. We went full commercial in 2015. Watch us as we grow!
